User Manual for Minerva Data DICOM Viewer
Welcome to the Minerva Data DICOM Viewer user manual. This guide will help you navigate and utilise the features of the Minerva Data DICOM Viewer effectively.
Getting Started
Open Image: To begin, load your DICOM images using the 'Choose files' button. You can select multiple files if necessary.
Image Navigation: Use the scroll bar on the left side of the viewer to navigate through the series of images.
Position: Enter specific coordinates to jump to a particular image slice.
Layout: By default, images are displayed individually. You can change the layout if you wish to see multiple images simultaneously.
Reset Layout: Click this to revert to the original single image view.
Tools and Binders
Binders:
- Window-level: Adjust the brightness and contrast.
- Position: Navigate through the image slices.
- Zoom: Magnify or reduce the image size.
- Offset: Move the image within the viewer.
- Opacity: Change the transparency of the overlay layers.
Tools:
- Scroll: Navigate through slices with your mouse or track-pad.
- Window Level: Fine-tune the brightness and contrast.
- ZoomAndPan: Zoom in/out and pan across the image.
- Opacity: Adjust the transparency of the image.
- Draw: Annotate or mark areas of interest on the image.
Adjusting Image Properties
- Id: Select the layer you wish to adjust.
- LGO: Toggle between different image processing options.
- Alpha Range: Set the transparency range of the image.
- Contrast: Adjust the contrast by moving the 'width' and 'centre' sliders.
- Alpha: Modify the overall transparency with the opacity slider.
