Sales Channels
This module allows you to define and manage the different places or methods where you sell your products. By setting up Sales Channels (such as a Retail Store, Wholesale, or an E-Commerce Website), you can easily control which warehouse fulfills those orders and which price list is used.
When Do I Use This?
- When you open a new physical retail location and need to track its sales separately.
- When you launch an online store and want to link it to a specific warehouse for inventory.
- When you have a dedicated wholesale team that uses a special, discounted price list.
How To Use
Creating a New Sales Channel
- Go to your Sales or Configuration menu and select Channels.
- Click + New to create a new channel.
- Enter a clear Name for the channel (e.g., "Online Store" or "Downtown Branch").
- Select the default Price List you want to charge customers in this channel.
- Select the default Warehouse where items will be picked and shipped from.
- If integrating with an online store, check Sync Warehouse to keep stock levels updated.
- Click Save to activate your new sales channel.
Field Descriptions
| Field Name | Description |

| Name | The title of the sales channel (e.g., "Web Store", "B2B Portal", "Main Kiosk"). |
| Price List | The default pricing rules applied to any sales made through this channel. |
| Warehouse | The specific location that provides the physical inventory for this channel's sales. |
| Sync Warehouse | A checkbox that, when checked, ensures your inventory levels are automatically synced with this channel (often used for connected E-Commerce stores). |
| Description | Any internal notes or details about the channel and its purpose. |
| Active | Determines if the channel is currently in use. Uncheck this to hide the channel from sales screens without deleting historical data. |
Tip: If a seasonal sales channel (like a "Holiday Pop-up Shop") closes, simply uncheck the Active box instead of deleting it. This keeps your past sales reports accurate while removing the clutter from your active list!
