Financial Dashboard
The Financial Dashboard is your central hub for managing all accounting and money-related activities in the system. It provides quick access to everything you need to track money coming in, money going out, and the overall financial health of the business.
When Do I Use This?
- When you need to record customer payments or print receipts.
- When paying vendors or managing company expenses.
- When creating manual journal entries to balance the books.
- When setting up financial rules like taxes, payment terms, or currencies.
- When you need to generate financial reports to see how the business is performing.
How To Use
Navigating the Financial Module
- Go to Financial from the main navigation menu.
- You will see a list of available financial modules and tools on your dashboard.
- Click on any Menu Item (such as Receipts, Payments, or Accounts) to open that specific tool.
Menu Options Available
Depending on your role, you will see the following links on your dashboard:

| Transactions | A complete log of all financial movements across all accounts. |

| Accounts | Manage specific financial accounts, like your company bank accounts or petty cash boxes. |
| Receipts | Record money received from customers or other sources. |
| Payments | Record money paid out to suppliers, vendors, or for expenses. |
| Cheques | Manage the lifecycle of physical cheques, including post-dated cheques and clearances. |
| Currencies | Define foreign currencies and manage their exchange rates. |
| Payment Terms | Set up rules for when bills are due (e.g., "Net 30 Days", "Due on Receipt"). |
| Payment Methods | Define how people can pay you or how you pay others (e.g., Bank Transfer, Credit Card, Cash). |
| Taxes | Configure tax rates (like VAT, GST, or Sales Tax) to be applied to invoices and bills. |
| Reports | Access financial statements, profit & loss summaries, and other printable accounting reports. |
Tip: If you are an accountant or a billing clerk, you will use this dashboard daily. Keep your transactions up to date to ensure your financial reports are always accurate!
