Stock Lookup

The Stock Lookup module is a quick search tool that allows you to find items in your inventory. It provides immediate answers about what items you have, how many are available, and where they are physically located within your facilities.

When Do I Use This?

• When a customer or patient asks if a specific product or medication is currently in stock.
• When a warehouse clerk needs to know the exact shelf or room where an item is stored.
• When you need to quickly check the available quantity of an item before placing a new purchase order.
• When verifying an item's barcode or internal system code.

How To Use

Searching for an Item

1. Go to Inventory → Stock → Lookup from the main menu.
2. Click on the main Search field.
3. Type the name, item code, or scan the barcode of the product you are looking for.
4. Press Enter or click the Search button.
5. Click on the item in the results list to view its full details, including available quantities and locations.

Filtering Results

If your search returns too many results, you can narrow them down:

1. Use the drop-down menus to filter by specific Categories or Locations.
2. The list will automatically update to show only the items that match your selected filters.
