Hospitalisation Dashboard Overview

The Hospitalisation Dashboard is your central command center for managing in-patient care. It provides quick, organized access to all the tools you need to track patients from the moment they are admitted to the ward until they are safely discharged.

When Do I Use This?

  • When you start your shift and need to manage daily ward activities.
  • When you need to admit a new patient, move a patient to a different room, or discharge them.
  • When you need to check bed availability or review the waiting list.
  • When updating daily nursing care plans or ordering patient meals.

How To Use

Navigating the Dashboard

  1. Go to Health → Hospitalisation → Dashboard from the main menu.
  2. You will see a menu with several module options (such as Admissions, Beds, Meals).
  3. Click on any module name, like Admission or Bed, to open that specific workspace.
  4. Use the top header and navigation menu to return to this dashboard at any time.

Dashboard Menu Options

This dashboard provides links to the following hospitalisation modules. Here is what you can do in each one:

Menu Option Description
Admission Record and process new patients who are being admitted to a hospital bed for an overnight stay or procedure.
Transfer Move a current patient from one bed, room, or ward to another within the hospital.
Discharge Process the paperwork and final steps for patients who are cleared to go home or transfer to an outside facility.
Waiting View and manage the list of patients who are waiting for an available bed to be admitted.
Nurse Plan Create, review, and update the daily nursing care and treatment schedules for your admitted patients.
Meal Manage dietary requirements, track allergies, and organize daily food orders for in-patients.
Bed Check the real-time status of all hospital beds to see which ones are occupied, available, or require cleaning.
Tip: If you work as a ward clerk or floor nurse, keep this dashboard open as your main screen throughout the day. It is the fastest way to jump between managing beds, updating care plans, and handling patient movements.
